Our challenge wasn’t singular. We were entrusted with creating two distinct FPV fly-throughs, each capturing the vibrant energy of both the Edinburgh and Angel Central locations. Each presented unique architectural layouts and signal interference, demanding strategic planning and adaptability.
Clearing the Path
Gaining permission to fly within bustling city centers like Edinburgh and Angel Central required meticulous planning. We secured the necessary licenses, insurance documents, risk assessments, and method statements, demonstrating our unwavering commitment to safety and professionalism.
Signal Savvy
Our Angel Central flight faced a formidable opponent: signal penetration. Two floors, multiple screens, and an outdoor takeoff threatened to disrupt the flow. We countered with a single-take masterpiece, pushing signal limits and seamlessly transitioning to a second shot, creating the illusion of a continuous journey.
Customer Captivation
The drone footage offered a fresh and engaging look at the VUE experience, effectively capturing the attention of potential customers and leaving a lasting impression. By overcoming complex clearances and technical hurdles, we earned the trust and respect of The VUE Cinema.
