AerialJohnny was trusted to capture Silverstone’s premium hospitality suites with dynamic FPV drone filming in the build-up to the British Grand Prix.
Silverstone needed to showcase their six hospitality suites: Fusion, Octane, The Racing Green, Legends Club, Heritage Club and the Red Bull Suite ahead of the biggest race weekend of the year.
The challenge was navigating strict FIA regulations, working around race preparations, and capturing smooth footage despite shifting light and weather conditions.

To keep operations seamless, we:
Prepared and distributed clear, detailed briefs to all staff involved, ensuring everyone knew their role, timing, and expectations.
Used live communication headsets to maintain precise, real-time coordination before, during, and after each flight, allowing us to adapt instantly to any changes or challenges.
Collaborated closely with Natasha from Silverstone, carefully timing each shoot so that every suite was camera-ready exactly when needed, avoiding delays and ensuring a smooth workflow.
Across six days on site, we filmed multiple FPV takes in each suite, creating a deep pool of content for Silverstone’s editors.
Some of the most striking moments came as we pushed the drones beyond the suites themselves, soaring out over the track to capture perspectives few have ever seen, blending intimacy with spectacle.
